First launched in 2005, forced to discontinue production under legal threat for use of French oak innner staves, despite rave reviews. Compass Box have since changed their production method and relaunched this excellent and very rich malt whisky. It has big, sweet aromas of cloves, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. The palate is full, round and sweet, with spice and vanilla complementing the core distillery characteristics and leaving a good long finish.
