An independently bottled, beautifully aged Glenrothes release from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Part of the brand’s Cinema Series of movie-inspired expressions, this was distilled back in November 1997 before spending its entire maturation in a refill hogshead. Just 331 bottles of the Speyside single malt Scotch have been made available.
Nose: Pears and apples provide a refreshing opening, before hay, green barley, Victoria sponge cake and soft baking spices arrive
Palate: More grassy notes along with banana, peach and melon. There’s a hint of cider, sweet milk chocolate, and a dusting of coconut.
Finish: Medium length with more baking spices.
