Islay 25 48.4% Distilled on the Isle of Islay, we can't tell you the distillery but you will detect those southern coastal chain of distilleries in this dram. 

Nose: From the moment we opened this dram it hit the senses with an abundance of Islay, Iodine and saltwater Taffy, smoked meats and BBQ pineapple. Hessian and Haybales, some spent matches. Beech rockpools

Palate: No holding back this is old school Islay, the iodine hits you alongside a smoked pineapple and sweet smoked honey glazed meat. Fresh cut oak and spices, a little hit of salted caramel and lemon meringue pie. Smoke and Peat with a soft mineral note add to the palate. 

General note

A sweetness plays along the top and side of the palate, with an abundance of smoke and peat that rides alongside the sweeter notes.

This single malt is a true taste journey you will be glad to have tasted.
